Encounters
We want to create encounters – so we can have discussions, connect people, and learn from one another.
Encounters, so we can watch theatre, dance, and art together, so we can celebrate, so we can get to know people and their work.
Encounters, so we can discuss things, have different opinions, to speed things up. So we that we don’t have to be alone, rather together.
In doing so, we aim to learn more, because we are trying to make these encounters and events in our programme as comfortable, welcoming, and accessible as possible. But this is just our point of view. We would be very happy to answer any questions on our events, or to be advised on various matters, or to be able to work together to have the best possible conversation about performing arts for young audiences.
Here you will find various projects, events, and dates, some of which take place regularly, other only occasionally.
Key events include the AUGENBLICK MAL! festival, the ASSITEJ workshops, the Frankfurt Young Theatre Forum, and the SPURENSUCHE job fair.
But there is so much more to discover!
When publicising events, we often use terms such as “conference”, “convention”, “workshop”, or “symposium”. We will try and explain the format of each event in the description attached. Some events are aimed at specific professionals, others at young people, while others still are aimed at those who work in theatre. You do not need to know everything in order to participate. We are happy for everyone to share their knowledge, regardless of what level it’s at!
We will also try to explain what each event is about and from which perspective it is planned.
Please contact us if you have any questions.
We would like our events and meetings to be a safe and positive space, free of discrimination, for everyone to share their views with one another. Respectful, open, and friendly interaction with one another is the goal – regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, physique, ethnicity, or religious beliefs. We do not tolerate any abuse or harassment of others. By taking part in this event, you are demonstrating that you share these values for inclusive and positive social interaction, and that you would like to uphold these values through your presence.
